Every month, POC provides an incredible opportunity to engage with a vibrant community of learners. Each day, we gather in the Learning Lab to practice English in a supportive atmosphere. Monthly, we connect with over 100 guests from more than 14 countries, all eager to sharpen their language skills and become active members of their community. To ensure our guests feel at home and part of their new environment, we proudly collaborate with exceptional partners who generously share their insights, experiences, and resources.

Since 2018, Hisae has been a dedicated participant in the Learning Lab, taking full advantage of its diverse offerings, including POC and Harper College ESL Conversation groups, the ESL Book Club, and Advanced ESL. She attends classes at the Higgins Education Center and participates in an ESL Group via Zoom to further develop her language skills, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning.
