Explore, Experience & Engage
Join us for an evening of discovery and connection at the Community Resource Center, led by POC. This special event invites you to meet the agencies housed within our building and learn firsthand about the wide range of services they offer to children, teens, and families. Take a guided tour of our facilities, including a stop in the gym to watch a vibrant dance class in action and see how our spaces are used to build community every day.
As the evening unfolds, you’ll be invited to participate in a POC Teen Group activity and gain insight into how young people are engaging with leadership, learning, and service. This is a unique opportunity to envision how your organization or network might collaborate with ours to serve the community better.
We’ll also provide a relaxed atmosphere for conversation and networking with wine, beer, and light appetizers available throughout the evening. Whether you’re a partner agency, prospective volunteer, donor, or neighbor, you’ll leave with a richer understanding of what happens at the Community Resource Center and new ideas for working together.

Parking is available at the front and rear of the building, located at 1585 N. Rand Rd., Palatine, as well as at the Walmart parking lot.
